Social Justice Film Series
Social Justice Film Series -
1st Tuesday of the Month at 7.00 p.m.
On the 1st Tuesday of each month, between October and June, the Sacred Heart Parish Justice & Peace group hosts the showing of a film on a social justice theme. Copyright restrictions stop us advertising the programme schedule on the website, but flyers are available in the Church, and the images on the right give a flavour of the films to be shown this year. In addition, all films are available for borrowing. Click here for a directory of the films available in our library. When you find a film you’d like to borrow send a request by e-mail, stating your name and your church/parish/school/group. We can then work out details of picking it up, returning it, etc. Films can be posted out as well, given enough notice. There is no charge for borrowing these films, but donations for the work of the Centre are always very gratefully received. Contact Fr Chris Boles SJ at the Centre for more details. The Centre is very grateful to the Jesuit Fund For Social Justice which gave a grant to provide the film library. All films shown in public at the Centre are done so under CCLI licence, Licence No 1195731. If you would like to be involved in a project for developing discussion materials around the themes raised in any of the films in our library, then please get in touch. |
