The Environment Series got off to a wonderful and inspiring start with a conversation between Vérčne and Alastair, widening out into shared discussion about burning issues of our times and the nature of the spirituality needed to address them.
Alastair McIntosh is Visiting Professor of Human Ecology at Strathclyde and author of books including Soil and Soul (Aurum 2001), Hell and High Water: Climate Change, Hope and the Human Condition (Birlinn 2008), and most recently, Rekindling Community: Connecting People, Environment and Spirituality (a Schumacher Briefing with WWF, 2008).
Vérčne Nicolas coordinates the Centre for Human Ecology's Degree of MSc in Human Ecology at Strathclyde University. She is passionate about transformative learning and conflict resolution. She is also training to become a teacher of Biodanza.
